CYCLING COLLECTION

During the interview process for my Team Sports Apparel Designer position at Under Armour I was given a brief to build a collection for a Men’s and Women’s sport of my choice. Not only did I choose road cycling to stand out from the other candidates, it’s not the most obvious team sport, but it was also during a time when cycling was rising in popularity in North America and steadily trending across other regions of the world. It’s also a great alternative to the spin studio as a way to explore the outdoors during the spring/summer seasons and offers camaraderie and community. This project exhibits my technical background in apparel design with flat sketches and detailed callouts with performance solutions always keeping the athlete in mind.
